Growing Up on the Patton State Hospital Grounds (1959-1970)

Steven Chapman will be sharing his amazing experience of growing up on the Patton State Hospital grounds from age 7 through 18 (1959-1970). Steve's aunt, Dr. Ethel A. Chapman, the #2 doctor at Patton and Director of Psychiatric Services, lived on the hospital grounds in a doctors' residential area from 1952 until 1978 when she retired from her career with the State of California.
